The painting continues at the house.....It's slow progress but immensely satisfying once a room gets done.

Toni says she's coming for Christmas. That'll be nice. Mom will be here on the 20th. We leave for Mexico in early October. We'll be gone celebrating our anniversary!

Well..... back from the wedding in Mexico. What a time that was. This was different. All who attended were able to meet/greet/converse with each other for an entire week! Not like the usual see a bunch of people you may or may not know for a scant few hours and then go back home.

I'm having trouble (again) with some of my video editing software. Can't save edited *.avi for some reason. And this after I had already saved 10 from the hundreds of wedding images. So I don't know what's up with that, but I suspect it may have something to do with not having enough hard drive space. 

Before we went to Mexico, I wanted to get a larger flash card for my camera. A 4 GB came on for sale so I bought one. We decided to not take the video camera and instead stuck with the still camera. we came back with, get this, about 1300 pictures/movies !! Amazing.

Good heavens! Well today is a day for ya. The rain seems to have let up somewhat, so we're about to set out doing some yard work. Uggh! Such a set of words to come from my mouth! All those years of hating helping Mom in the various yards we lived in back in 'the good old days' in Vulcan. Well this is better. At least I own this one (with Marlin, of course!)!

I'm putting the rails for the box on the new trailer together this weekend, too. Also the new mantle for the fireplace goes on today. Such a hunk of fir, I'll tell ya!
